Business Park Proposed For Dawson County

According to a recent report in the AJC, some of the impact a proposed business park would create in the North Georgia mountains was outlined in a form filed last week with the state Department of Community Affairs.  Named Kilough/400 Business Park, the development is scoped to be completed in 2012.

Canton-based CSC Contractors proposes to build Kilough/400 Business Park valued at $55 million on 109 acres in Dawson County. The county is attracting development interests ranging from new homes that are less than an hour north of I-285, to retail centers and industrial developments.

The project would have 425,000 square feet of industrial space, 340,000 square feet of retail space and 85,000 square feet of office space, according to the report.
